A Chiefain and Member of People's Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Amb Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has urged Nigerians to continued to hold on to the democratic ideals of equity which are the core objectives of nation building.
Prince Amb Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla in his independent day message said that we must all ensure, as patriotic citizens, to deepen our democracy and contribute to the progress and development of our nation.
He also called on Nigerians not to allow religion to divide the country but to stand up for the promotion and dignity of humanity as well as mutual respect for one another.
In a congratulatory message to Nigerians and his party members, PDP, Prince Amb Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla said that they should give all the glory to the Almighty God for keeping Nigeria as one to see her 60th birthday anniversary.
He reiterated in the message, "I will use this medium to appreciate the efforts of Aare of Yorubaland, Dr Gani Adam's the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo, for his selfless service and his fatherly role.

In related development, Prince Amb Dr Adedipe Dauda Ewenla is among the dignitaries that have been confirmed by the Nigerian Football Supporters Club 2020 Investiture award slated for October as "Sport Ambassador".
The Nigeria football supporters club says this year's edition will give its award in five categories to include: Rev Samuel Ikpea, National Chairman, Nigeria Football Supporter's club and others .
According the Secretary General, Kunle Adeniyi Esq, Nigeria football supporters club has been in existence since 1955 cheering all our National teams to victory during football matches locally and internationally.
The club has won serveal laurels as best behaved supporters' club to the country both at FIFA and CAF level respectively
