AOCOED Ijanikin, Non Academic staff Union shut down school over no implementation of minimum wage



Adeniran ogunsanya college of education ,AOCOED, Ijanikin, Lagos State, shut down by the Non Academic staff Union (NASU) of the institution.

This come up barely after 24 hours meeting by the Union's executive where the resolution was loggerheads after much deliberation, of non implementation of minimum wage.

The Non Academic Staff Union (NASU), embark on industrial strike action since the school authority refuse to meet up with their demands .


The chairman of the NASU, comrade Badmus Adesola,when contacted,said that the union is only embarking on their legitimate right demanding for the implementation of the new minimum wage by the Lagos state government, which other ministries is enjoying.

Ajayi said the strike action had become necessary when it became glaring that the Non Academic Staff Union,AOCOED chapter is being neglected over non implementation of the minimum wage.
