Fifteen years old teenager arrest by operatives of Kano State Police command for allegedly stabbed his brother’s wife 25years old woman with a knife
A press statement was issued by DSP Abdullahi Haruna, the public relations officer of Kano state said that the incident occurred on Tuesday at Maidille Quarters of the state metropolis.
Haruna said that at about 11 p.m, the command received a complaint that the suspect allegedly stabbed his brother’s wife who is eight months pregnant , Mrs Habiba Isah, with a knife.
Our correspondent gathered that the minor visited his brother’s house was demanding to see his sister-in-law.
Immediately the woman got scared and put a call to her husband mobile phone but the minor knocked the phone out of her hand with a pestle.
“He then stabbed her in the stomach and other parts of her body with the knife.
“Upon receiving the report, the police visited the scene and the victim was evacuated to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where she was admitted and the unborn child was later confirmed dead by a medical doctor,” Haruna added.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr Sama’ila Dikko, has ordered that the case be transferred to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Homicide section for investigation and that the suspect would be charged to court on completion
